Terms of Service of Lolynk

Welcome to Lolynk, a service provided by Loline Digital Media & Solutions PLC ("Loline", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Lolynk and describe your rights and responsibilities when using the platform.

By accessing or using Lolynk, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service.

1. About Lolynk

Lolynk is a free online tool that allows users to create customizable landing pages featuring external links and selected content from their Instagram profile. The service is currently free, but we may offer premium features in the future.

You log in using your Meta (Instagram or Facebook) account. We use Meta’s API to fetch your basic profile data and Instagram content, in accordance with their policies.

2. Who Can Use Lolynk

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Have full legal capacity under applicable laws in your country
  • Not be prohibited from using Lolynk under any applicable laws
  • Use Meta login credentials that belong to you

By using Lolynk, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you’re using the service in your personal or business capacity, as applicable.

3. Your Account and Security

When you sign in with Meta, we retrieve limited information, including:

  • Your name and profile picture
  • Your Instagram posts (public only)
  • Your email address

We do not collect your Meta password or access your private messages. You are responsible for safeguarding your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at contact@lolinedigitals.com.

4. What You Can and Cannot Do

  • Upload or share content that is illegal, abusive, discriminatory, violent, misleading, or sexually explicit
  • Impersonate another person or brand without authorization
  • Create multiple accounts to abuse the platform
  • Use bots or automated tools to access or scrape the platform
  • Post spam, phishing links, or misleading advertising
  • Upload viruses or attempt to disrupt our platform
  • Violate Meta’s terms, or any third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or modify the platform

Violation of any of the above may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

5. Content Ownership and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload, such as:

  • Links you add
  • Custom text
  • Instagram content accessed via Meta

You give us permission (a non-exclusive, worldwide license) to display and process your content so we can provide the service. This license ends when you delete your account or content.

Our Platform

The design, branding, code, and technology that power Lolynk are owned by Loline Digital Media & Solutions PLC. You may not copy, reuse, or redistribute any part of our platform without our written permission.

6. Meta API Usage

We use the Meta API to authenticate users and display selected Instagram content on their pages. Lolynk is not endorsed, certified, or sponsored by Meta Platforms Inc. All Instagram trademarks are the property of Meta.

You are also bound by Meta’s Platform Terms and Community Guidelines while using Lolynk.

7. Changes to the Platform

We are always improving. As such, we may:

  • Add or remove features at any time
  • Change the design or functionality of the service
  • Offer new paid tiers or subscriptions
  • Pause or discontinue the service entirely

We will do our best to notify you in advance of significant changes, but we may not always be able to.

8. Termination

You can:

  • Remove content we believe violates laws or our policies

After termination, we may permanently delete your account and all associated data.

9. Warranty Disclaimer

Lolynk is offered “as is” and “as available”. While we aim for high uptime and security, we do not guarantee that:

  • The service will always be available
  • The platform is error-free or free of harmful components
  • Your content will be preserved or backed up

Use of the service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
  • Unauthorized access to your account or content

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid (if any) in the previous 12 months.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Loline, its affiliates, employees, and directors from any claims, liabilities, or damages resulting from:

  • Your use of Lolynk
  • Your content or links
  • Your breach of these Terms or any applicable law

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal action must be brought in the competent courts of Ethiopia.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you via email or on the platform. Your continued use of Lolynk after changes go into effect means you agree to the revised Terms.
